Our work

At lgpictures.ie, I specialise in capturing the beauty and wonder of Irish nature and wildlife through stunning photography. Based in Laois, my passion for the outdoors and love for the natural world is reflected in every image I capture.

The Yellowhammer, a beautiful bird with distinctive song.

Common Whitethroat

Summer visitor, usually seen in coastal or mountain heather.

Tree Sparrow

The Tree Sparrow, another rare sight, not to be confused with the House Sparrow.  The brown/reddish cap distinguishes it from its cousin.

Native Irish goat in the Sliabh Blooms.

Wild Irish goats can be found throughout the country and have adapted well to our wet, boggy mountainsides.

The Grey Heron

Commonly seen on our waterways and coasts, the Grey Heron is often seen on rivers and coasts.

Seagulls

Seagulls, once only seen in harbour and coastal areas, can now be seen scavenging quite a distance inland competing with Crows and Magpies for food waste in shopping centres.
